UNIVERSITY HOUSING SERVICES REMAINS OPEN
Dear Housing Residents,
I am sure most of you have already seen the email from President Coley that campus is taking a short pause in face-to-face classes staring Friday, March 13 till Tuesday, March 17. After March 17 the campus will be moving to a virtual format at least until Spring Break. Please note that University Housing Services along with campus will remain open and does not plan to close at this time. We are sure that there will be many questions regarding housing as we enter into this new period of response from the University related to COVID-19 (novel coronavirus). Please refer to the University Housing Services webpage and emails for additional information and updates.
To be clear, as of right now, the Residential community and associated services will continue normal operations. All students who live in housing are welcome to stay. We will be fully staffed and will continue to provide the support to all our residents to ensure their continued success.
Soon we will be sending out a short questionnaire where we will ask all housing residents to complete the survey on their housing portal. We are asking for this information in order to better serve those who remain with us between now and April 6th and to plan accordingly with campus partners such as Foundation Dinning.
The following information will be asked through your Housing Portal:
- For those of you who are departing for any extended time between now and April 6th.
- For those of you who are planning on staying for Spring Break (March 28 through April 5th).
- What programs, services and opportunities would be beneficial during this period.
As always, we encourage students to monitor their university emails and check the University Webpage related to COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) updates at https://www.cpp.edu/safety/coronavirus/index.shtml.
Thank you,
University Housing Services
