Involvement Opportunities for Residents
Resident Student Association
Resident Student Association (RSA) is a council that is run by students and serves University Housing Services residents. RSA provides leadership development and community engagement opportunities while advocating for residents through inclusivity and being their voices to University Housing Services.
Resident Student Association (RSA) is a recognized club/organization through Bronco Leadership Center (BLC). Residents can run for an officer position during Election season in Spring semester.

Past Events from RSA and UHS
Mario Kart Tournament
Resident Student Association (RSA) gathered to bring fellow gamers together to host a fun, social video game program. Residents met fellow gamers and played on the Nintendo Switch while enjoying snacks and socializing.
Late Night Breakfast
RSA hosted their Late Night Breakfast event for Housing residents. This event is held each seemster where residents enjoy breakfast food at night, play games, win prizes, and relax before finals.
Hike to Kellogg
Our Student Leader Event Leads took residents on a fun, relaxing on-campus hike to Kellogg House. Students enjoyed a leisure walk discovering this hidden gem of a trail, one of many Cal Poly Pomona has to offer.
Yoga with the BRIC
Students took a moment to relax, stretch, and meditate during midterms. The Student Leader Event Lead team collaborated with ASI to bring a BRIC (Bronco Recreation and Intramural Complex) Yoga Instructor to Housing to lead a class.RSA Eboard Positions
RSA President oversees the entire Resident Student Assocation.

- Must be in good judicial standing with UHS & CPP
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student at CPP for the 2025-2026 Academic Year
- Must complete Bronco Leadership Center Registration Education process
Also known as the NACURH Communications Coordinator (NCC), this position oversees conference planning logistics with NACURH (National Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls) and for regional conferences with PACURH (Pacific Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls). In this position the NCC represents RSA at monthly Regional Chats and ensures the council is up to date on all communications within NACURH.
Position Requirements
- 2.0 or higher semester & cumulative GPA
- Must be in good judicial standing with UHS & CPP
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student at CPP for the 2025-2026 Academic Year

The Director of Administration and Finance (Treasurer) oversees RSAs budget, meeting minutes, and other administrative requests.

- Must be in good judicial standing with UHS & CPP
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student at CPP for the 2025-2026 Academic Year
- Must complete Bronco Leadership Center Registration Education process
The Director of Social Programming (Event Planner/Scheduler) oversees all programming efforts for Inter-Hall Council. They work alongside the DAA (Director of Administrative Affairs) to stay within their programming budget, reach out to campus partners for collaborative programming, and guide the council on program planning and initiatives.

- Must be enrolled as a full-time student at CPP for the 2025-2026 Academic Year

The Director of Cultural Engagement (Event Planner) oversees all cultural programming efforts alongisde UHS' Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Coordinator. This position focuses on collaboration with campus departments and partners.

- Must be enrolled as a full-time student at CPP for the 2025-2026 Academic Year

The ASI Senator-at-Large of IHC is a representative that sits on the executive board and participates in eboard and general meetings. They serve as a liason between the Resident Student Association (RSA) and Associated Students Inc. (ASI).
The Media and Public Relations Coordinator (MPRC) focuses marketing, design, and social media for RSA.
