In this session the CPP Data Science & AI Club uses generative adversarial networks to create and detect phishing emails to help demonstrate offensive and defensive measures of cybersecurity. DS&AI uses an LLM to create the realistic emails while the discriminator component will employ a neural network for the binary classification to produce a fully-functioning GAN-based system capable of generating and detecting phishing emails to illustrate the effectiveness of AI in understanding and mitigating phishing threats. If you receive such an email or text message, don't respond; forward it to suspectemail@cpp.edu immediately. If you suspect your account has been compromised, reset your password or contact the IT Service Desk.
