National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, also known as Taiwan Tech, has seven academic colleges and, like Cal Poly Pomona, is a well-regarded engineering school. The Times Higher Education ranks Taiwan Tech 81st among the world’s top 100 universities in the field of social sciences. It is the first institution ever from Taiwan to make the top 100 in that field. Taiwan Tech has a current enrollment includes 5,253 undergraduates and 4,628 graduate students with 533 full-time faculty.

NATIONAL YUNLIN UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (YUNTECH)

National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (YunTech) was founded in 1991. YunTech is currently constituted of 5 colleges, namely College of Engineering, College of Management, College of Design, College of Humanities and Applied Science, and College of Future. The first four are the colleges classified by traditional academic classification. The future college is a new college established with the mission of adaptive learning and helping the disadvantaged/ unprivileged.
The most know programs include Engineering and Social Science, which are the top 1% around the global world in Essential Science Indicators. Besides, YunTech also aggressively involves in new domains, which are AI, Data Science, Robot and Electric Vehicle.
