Study Abroad Photo Contest

GIVE US YOUR BEST SHOT!

Here's a chance to share your favorite study abroad experiences through the annual Study Abroad Photo Contest! We're looking for the most interesting and awe-inspiring photos that showcase your experience abroad.

Winning entries will be selected based on the best quality photographs that convey a strong sense of place or express a cross-cultural experience in one of the following categories:

Billy Bronco in the World: Photos show that Billy Bronco is traveling the world.

Best Landscape: Photos that show the best landscape of the study abroad destination.

Most Artistic: Photos that show artistic and creative freedom.

People Having Fun: Photos that show students having fun participating in program-related activities.

People in Culture: Photos that show students engaging in the local culture.

Overall: Photos that celebrate the diverse and transformative experiences of study abroad.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

The contest is open to all CPP students currently enrolled in a study abroad program or recently completed one. A maximum of five (5) entries per student may be submitted. Photos must have been taken by the entrant during the entrant's study abroad program. Photos that include drug use or other illegal activities will not be accepted. Defamatory, slanderous, obscene, threatening, hateful, or otherwise offensive photos are also prohibited. Photos must be high resolution (at least 300 dpi) in JPEG or PNG and be titled to correspond with your entry.

By entering the contest, you will be giving the Office of Study Abroad permission to use your photo(s) in various marketing activities, publications, and/or on the Web for the purpose of promoting Study Abroad at Cal Poly Pomona. This means all photos, not just winning entries, will be eligible for inclusion in such activities.
