National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (YunTech) was founded in 1991. YunTech is currently constituted of 5 colleges, namely College of Engineering, College of Management, College of Design, College of Humanities and Applied Science, and College of Future. The first four are the colleges classified by traditional academic classification. The future college is a new college established with the mission of adaptive learning and helping the disadvantaged/ unprivileged.
The most know programs include Engineering and Social Science, which are the top 1% around the global world in Essential Science Indicators. Besides, YunTech also aggressively involves in new domains, which are AI, Data Science, Robot and Electric Vehicle.
About the Program
Students have two options:
1. Living in Dormitory of YunTech:
270 USD / 1 semester (room for four for undergraduates) 360 USD / 1 semester (room for two for postgraduates)

Campus of YunTech for sports and activities covers over 15 hectares, including a gym, indoor swimming pool, track and field, table tennis and badminton court indoor and outdoor tennis courts, baseball/softball diamonds, outdoor basketball, volleyball court/ football field, roller skate park and gold field. The sports facilities are open for outside guests and provide a venue for local community to sport.
Students pay regular Cal Poly Pomona tuition. Students are responsible for all additional travel and living costs.
- Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance.
- Requires a 2.75 GPA, good academic standing.
- Sophomore, Junior or Senior standing at the time of departure.
