Italy Landscape Architecture
The Italy Landscape Architecture program is a semester-long program based in the small community of Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy. This rural location, about forty miles southeast of Florence, in the Tuscany region provides a deeply immersive experience into landscape systems which are a blend of Greek, Roman, Medieval, Renaissance, and contemporary expressions which exemplify sustainable methods and practices.
With a unique set of deep connections, the program explores the art, architecture, and landscapes of Italy to reveal one of the oldest, culturally accomplished, and blended cultures that continues to be an important historic and current reference for the practices of landscape architecture.
Students from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Landscape Architecture are also included to participate in this unique program.
