Hawaii NGO Fieldwork
Students will spend 9 days in Hawaii (January 10-19, 2025).
Students will teach "Introduction to Soft Skills" and "Introduction to College" workshops to incarcerated male and female youth for the Hawaii Department of Education. The pre-requisite course for this trip for undergraduate PLS 3175 "NGOs & Social Service Outreach" (Fall 2024). All participating students will receive a $500 scholarship from the Political Science Department for this trip.
