#CPPMusicCouches Podcast
The Cal Poly Pomona Department of Music #CPPMusicCouches Podcast program is a student internship program with goals of reviving the art of listening and providing a close-up look at members of the department community including faculty, staff, alumni, students, and guest composers and performers. It’s like sitting on the famous music couches and talking with friends!
Each academic year the student accepted for the internship is tasked with being the host of that season’s episodes including development, production, scheduling, releasing and promoting the series. The program is supervised by Teresa Kelly who developed the internship program during the COVID pandemic as a way to enhance communication among the music community, and Professor Sarah Wallin Huff who oversees the production of the episodes and is composer of the podcast theme music.
Academic Year 2020/2021
The podcast intern for the 2020/21 Academic Year is Henry Ly, a Music Industry Studies major who will graduate Spring 2021. Episodes will be released during the spring semester.
