Your Path to Joining the Cal Poly Pomona Music Department

1. University Application
   • Begin your application by submitting an application to Cal Poly Pomona through the Cal Poly Pomona Admissions Office.
     • Be sure to review the general university admission requirements and deadlines.
2. Music Department Audition
   • In addition to the university application, you must complete the Music Department Supplemental Application to schedule an audition.
   • To schedule an audition, you must first submit a university application.
   • Please note: Every student applying for a CPP Music program MUST audition.
   • Auditions are a critical component of the admissions process for all music majors.
3. Submission of Materials
   • All audition materials and additional documents should be submitted by the specified deadlines.
   • Late submissions may not be considered.

Spring 2025 Admission
Apply online for the Spring 2025 term via Cal State Apply by August 31 for all majors.

Fall 2025 Admission
Apply online for the Fall 2025 term via Cal State Apply after October 1, 2024 for all majors.
