Scholarships and Financial Aid
At Cal Poly Pomona, we are committed to creating opportunities for students from all walks of life to reach their full potential. Our scholarship program ensures that the best students can attend and thrive at the university, no matter their financial circumstances.
Thanks to the generosity of numerous donors, we offer several both merit and need-based scholarships for the W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Center.
Scholarship Information for Current Students
Apply through the Bronco Scholarship Application (BSA). Scholarships will be awarded by the end of the spring quarter. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 units each quarter.
Scholarship Information for Prospective Students
Cal Poly Pomona offers university-wide scholarships for incoming and continuing students and provides a database of other scholarship resources. Please visit the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships Office for more information.
W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Center-Based Scholarships
Through the support of loyal alumni and donors, the W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Center is proud to offer several scholarships based on academic interest. While these scholarships vary in the award range, the university is committed to every student having the opportunity to pursue an exceptional and affordable education at Cal Poly Pomona. W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Center-based scholarships include:
One scholarship at $1,000 and two at $500.
Qualifications:
- Full time Cal Poly Pomona student (12 units)
- Minimum GPA 2.5
- Animal Science major – preferably Equine Industry Option
- Demonstrated interest and involvement in the California light horse industry
One scholarship at $750.
Qualifications:
- Full time Cal Poly Pomona student (12 units)
- Minimum GPA 3.0
- For a student involved with the Arabian Horse Center who has demonstrated a keen interest in equine-human relationship
One scholarship at $1,000.00 and two at $500.
Qualifications:
- Full time Cal Poly Pomona student (12 units)
- Minimum GPA 2.5
- Any Agriculture major
- Demonstrated interest and involvement in the California light horse industry
One scholarship at $500.00 for freshman/transfers. Scholarship will be awarded during fall semester.
Qualifications:
- Open to incoming freshman/transfer students who have been admitted to the 2016/2017 academic year.
- Full time enrollment (minimum 12 units per quarter)
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Demonstrate strong interest and dedication to the Arabian breed and/or the equine industry.
- Demonstrate strengths and dedication in the areas of citizenship and leadership
