World War I Discussion
Jacob Wolak and Lamar Castillo facilitated a World War I discussion series during the fall of 2019. As discussion leaders their goal was connect to the past through the use of text to explore how World War I served as an impetus for the State of California's great transformation. These dialogues were based on selections from Diane M.T. North’s California at War: The State and the People During World War I. Participants were able to attend these discussions at Cal Poly Pomona and at Chapman University Leatherby Library's Center for American War Letters Archives.
