Here and There
As part of the Iraq and Afghanistan War discussion series, Here and There was created as a Community Based Theatre (CBT) project within the American War Experience through California Voices program. This initiative collaborated with Cal Poly Pomona's Theatre and New Dance Department to create an original play about a day in the life of Cal Poly Pomona's military affiliated students as they grapple with the legacy of military service on campus and abroad.
CBT involves professional theatre artists who collaborate with a community in order to represent the truths of those community partners. Paula Weston Solano and Bernardo Solano, CPP faculty and professional CBT artists, collaborated with military affiliated students and staff at CPP’s Veterans Resource Center to create the play, Here and There.
