Once a student has verified they meet the requirements and attended a change of major meeting (if necessary), the student must submit the Change of major e-form.
Please note when changing majors during the 2023-2024 year, the student will be following the 2023-2024 curriculum.

3.25 CPP and Overall GPA
C or better in BIO 1210/L and BIO 1220/L
Students must have completed 2 full semesters at CPP.
Students must meet with a Biology Faculty Advisor, complete a Biology advising worksheet and attach the signed worksheet to their online change of major e-form.
Internal Change of Majors
*Current Biology students who want to switch to a different degree option within Biology can submit the change of major request at any time.

B or better in CS 1300, CS 1400 and CS 2400.
B or better in MAT 1140, MAT 1150, PHY 1510 and PHY 1510L.
Completed at least 30 semester units (at least one academic year) at CPP.
Once all of these requirements listed above have been met, student must email cs_com@cpp.edu with current unofficial transcripts to be added to a Canvas Change of major module. When you successfully complete the module, you can submit the Change of Major form.
