Alarm and Access Control

The Division of Information Technology is responsible for the management of campus alarm and access systems. University Police retains responsibility for response to alarm activations. 

Door Access Requests:

To request door access, please follow these instructions:

  1. Open a web browser and navigate to https://cpp.service-now.com/ehelp
  2. Click Get IT
  3. Login with your CPP credentials
  4. Click on Security and Access
  5. Click on Door Access Form
  6. Fill out the form and click the submit button
  7. Please allow 3-5 days to process requests

 New System Installations or Repairs for Alarm and Door Access

University Police and the Division of Information Technology should be jointly involved in all alarm installations. By identifying your needs and goals, we can help determine the best security controls for your environment. To provide security to a specific area to protect persons/property, an alarm system is typically appropriate. To secure an area and identify or audit access to the area, an access control system would be appropriate. A wide selection of equipment and options are available.

To request installation or repair of alarm and door access systems, please follow these instructions:

  1. Open a web browser and navigate to https://cpp.service-now.com/ehelp
  2. Click Get IT
  3. Login with your CPP credentials
  4. Click on Security and Access
  5. Click on the appropriate Installation or Repair link
  6. Fill out the form and click the submit button
  7. A representative from the campus will contact you to assist with your request
