Annual Sexual Misconduct Prevention Training
In accordance with CSU Interim Policy, and state law, all CSU students, including Cal Poly Pomona students, are required to complete an online Title IX (sexual violence prevention) training in its entirety their first year as a student at Cal Poly Pomona and are required to complete a refresher course every academic year thereafter. This is part of a system-wide effort to ensure that all students are provided a safe learning environment.
The training can be accessed by following this link: http://cppstudents-ca.safecolleges.com/. This link may also be found under the To-Do Checklist Item in your account. You will be asked to sign on using your SSO (Single Sign On), which includes your username (first part of your email address) and password to access the training. You may complete the training in one session or in multiple sessions. You may stop and save your training at any time. Training assigned to New Undergraduate, New Graduate, or Transfer Students are approximately 50 – 60 minutes long. Refresher training assigned to continuing undergraduate and graduate students is approximately 25 minutes long.
If taking this training is difficult for you based on past experience(s), please contact please our office at (909) 869-4646 or the Survivor Advocate with Survivor Advocacy Services at (909) 869-2196, redixon@cpp.edu to complete an alternative training.
Students who do not complete the mandatory training by the due date will receive a hold on their account that impacts their ability to register for classes. As such, students are strongly encouraged to complete the training as soon as possible to avoid any delay in registration for courses. The checklist and hold code will be removed within 3 – 4 hours of training completion. We kindly ask that students allow the automated process to release the holds and only contact OEC once sufficient time has passed.
