JDXpert Job Description System
- The goal of this project is to streamline the process of creating, updating, and reviewing job descriptions for all staff and management positions.
- JDXpert will digitize all job descriptions and provide access to sample job descriptions in job categories that will facilitate the ease of completing them.
- HEERA Managers with the assistance of their administrative assistants will be able to create and update job descriptions of their employees in the JDXpert system. Employees will be able to review their job descriptions and acknowledge the duties.
- Currently, the campus is using a custom-made Word and PDF document that is labor intensive, not user friendly, and is difficult to manage. The JDXpert system implementation is in alignment with strategic initiative #5 to advance organizational development and employee excellence.
The Benefits:
- Managers and employees will be able to edit sections of the job description that apply to them.
- Workflow capability for approvals on a job description.
- Ability to run spell checks and view tracked changes.
- Managers will be able to view active job descriptions across Cal Poly Pomona.
- Employees will be able to acknowledge and view previously acknowledged job descriptions.
- Allows us to regularly review job descriptions on an annual cadence.
- The system will utilize data from the job description to generate recruitment job posting.
