General Provisions
In signing the Publication Agreement with the International Journal of Teacher Leadership (IJTL), the author represents and warranties that the article is an original work not previously published in English and that the author has the legal right to offer the article for publication in theInternational Journal of Teacher Leadership (IJTL). The author warrants that the article does not contain material that is defamatory or infringes the copyrights of others. To the best of the author's knowledge, publication of the article in the International Journal of Teacher Leadership (IJTL), will not subject the journal to liability.
The author is the sole agent responsible for management of the copyright related to publication. The author permits the readers to reproduce and distribute copies of individual works from this publication without permission for nonprofit educational purposes only, provided that copies are distributed at no cost, and that the full and accurate author, source, and bibliographical citation are included on each copy. Any article cited as a reference in any other form should also report the citation, according to American Psychological Association (APA) guidelines. This permission is in addition to rights of reproduction granted under Sections 107, 108 and other provisions of the U.S. Copyright Act.
Author Retains Copyright But Grants Rights to the International Journal of Teacher Leadership (IJTL)
The author retains the copyright and all other literary rights of the article but grants certain rights regarding publication to the International Journal of Teacher Leadership (IJTL). TheInternational Journal of Teacher Leadership (IJTL) is granted specific publication rights as described:
- The author hereby agrees to retain the copyright but grants to the International Journal of Teacher Leadership (IJTL) the exclusive right to first publish the work.
- The author hereby grants to the International Journal of Teacher Leadership (IJTL) a nonexclusive license to reproduce, distribute, and publicly display or perform the work, in whole or in part, in any electronic medium, whether now known or later developed.
- The author hereby grants to the International Journal of Teacher Leadership (IJTL) a nonexclusive license to authorize the reproduction, distribution, and public display or performance of the work, in whole or in part, for nonprofit, educational uses.
- The author will own the copyright of the article, and will, therefore, be responsible for registering the article with the United States Copyright Office.
- The author agrees to cite his or her work as first published in the International Journal of Teacher Leadership (IJTL) whenever reproducing it.
