Gently D Ang, Ph. D., CCTP, is a Clinical Psychologist of Counseling & Psychological Services at CalPolyPomona.  Dr. Gently Ang earned her Bachelor's degree in psychology from California State University, Los Angeles and her Master's degree in psychology and Doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology.  Her passion lies in using the psychotherapy relationship to support healing and personal growth.  She is currently co-located at the College of Environmental Design as part of the ENV-Wellness Collaboration.

Michael Andrew Fenske, Psy. D., is a Clinical Psychologist of Counseling & Psychological Services at CalPolyPomona.  Dr. Fenske earned his Bachelor's degree in biblical studies from Life Pacific University in San Dimas, and both his Master's and Doctorate of clinical psychology at Azusa Pacific University.  Dr. Fenske has mainly trained and worked in university mental health settings, as he enjoys working with the developmental and transition-related concerns of college students.  He also enjoys working with students addressing faith and spirituality.  While utilizing an integrative approach of different therapy modalities, Dr. Fenske has a passion specifially for the helpful and direct nature of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy.

Annie Ruth Hao, LMFT, is a Clinical Therapist of Counseling & Psychological Services at CalPolyPomona.  Annie Hao received her Bachelor's degree in human development from University of California, San Diego and her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology.  At CalPolyPomona, she serves as the co-located therapist within University Housing Services.  Annie recognizes that the transition to college and the challenges, stressors, and opportunities for growth, and that it can help to have a safe and non-judgmental space to make sense of it all.  Her hope is for students to feel welcome as they are, to be deeply heard and understood, to cultivate an attunement and curiosity about themselves, and to utilize such deepend self-awareness to make more mindful choices in their lives.

Rhona Joyce Harrison, Psy. D., is a Clinical Psychologist of Counseling & Psychological Services at CalPolyPomona.  Dr. Harrison received her Bachelor's degree in psychology and Doctorate degree in clinical-community psychology from the University of La Verne.  She has worked in community mental health, school-based mental health, inpatient psychiatric hospital, and university counseling centers.  Dr. Harrison has over 10 years of experience as a psychologist in university counseling.  She enjoys helping diverse students overcome social anxiety and explore issues related to their intersecting identities.  Dr. Harrison believes that we are wired for connection and that mutually satisfying relations are necessary for our well-being.  Using a person-centered approach, Dr. Harrison provides a warm and nonjudgmental space for students to freely express their authentic selves.  She loves helping her clients "connect the dots" and gain singiht into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.  Her goal is for each person who comes through her door to feel seen, heard, and empowered.  It is through the difficult moments in therapy where growth and healing occur and is truly an honour for her to walk alongside her clients during their journey at CalPolyPomona.

Hanna Lee Oh, Ph. D., is a Clinical Psychologist of Counseling & Psychological Services at CalPolyPomona.  Dr. Lee (she/her) received her Bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in women's studies from University of California, Los Angeles.  She received her Master's and Doctoral degrees from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology in Pasadena, CA.  Dr. Lee enjoys helping students increase self-awareness, manage difficult transitions, and explore their own voices and identities.  Her clinical interests include young adult development, trauma, Asian-American culture, multiracial/multicultural identity, and the integration of spirituality, religion, and psychology.  She is also passionate about working with first generation college students and first-time utilizers of mental health services.

Dao Q Nguyen, Ph. D., MIBA, is a Clinical Psychologist of Counseling & Psychological Services at CalPolyPomona.  Dr. Dao Nguyen has been a clinical psychologist at CalPolyPomona's Counseling and Psychological Services since 2002 and currently serves as the Training Coordinator for the post-doctoral fellowship program.  Her career has been devoted to working with college students and her passion is in providing psychotherapy, training, and teaching.  As a Vietnamese refugee, fluent in Vietnamese, French, and English, and having studied in Paris and done research in Montreal, she has an affinity to international students and students from diverse backgrounds.  She is well versed in working with cultural and inter-cultural issues, immigration and acculturation, and trauma and losses experienced by the displaced and dispossessed.  Dr. Nguyen received her Master's and Doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from the University of Cincinnati, Master's in clinical pscyhology from California State University, San Francisco, and Master's in international business administration and Master's in intercultural communication from the Monterey Institute of International Studies.

Lideth Ortega-Villalobos, Ph. D., is a Clinical Psychologist of Counseling & Psychological Services  at CalPolyPomona.  Dr. Lideth Ortega-Villalobos is a bilingual, licensed psycholigst, first generation college graduate, and proud alumni of CalPolyPomona.  She compleher her Master's and Doctoral degrees in counseling and psychology at the University of Nore Dame, Indiana and specialized in integrating the role of culture in therapy and training.  She has 19 years of clinical experience in college/university settings.  She loves supporting college students in the process of seeking help and prioritizing their mental-health.  Dr. Ortega believes that when we are willing to admit "it's ok not to be ok" we are no longer alone in our struggles, and we open ourselves up to make helpful changes.

Rachel Anne Phillips-Lee, LPCC, is a Clinical Therapist of Counseling & Psychological Services at CalPolyPomona.  Rachel Phillips-Lee is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with experience providing both individual and group therapy.  After receiving a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Ms. Phillips-Lee went on to serve a year with City Year Sacramento, working with K-12 students in urban schools.  These experiences combined with Rachel's passion for helping others led her to pursue a Master's degree in Counseling.  Rachel completed her graduate school education in Los Angeles, CA.  She continued her work in K-12 schools, specifically counseling students and families receiving special education services, as well as in community mental health, and she obtained her licensure hours.  Ms. Phillips-Lee's clinical interests include helping individuals overcome anxiety and depressive disorders, leading therapeutic groups, supporting individuals as they go through life transitions, and helping clients improve relationships with self and others.

Cintia Rodriguez, LCSW, is a Clinical Therapist of Counseling & Psychological Services at CalPolyPomona.  Cintia Rodriguez was born and raised in Southern California.  She received both her undergratude degree in Sociology and her Master's degree in social work from California State University, Los Angeles.  As a licensed clinician, Cintia is passionate about providing a safe and nonjudgmental space for students addressing their mental health needs.  Cintia approacher her clinical work from a strengths-based and client centered approach ensuring students feel supported through their therapeutic process.  She embraces cultural humility and is committeed to providing cultural awareness support.  Cintia is fluent in English and able to engage conversationally in Spanish.

Maria Gisela Sanchez Cobo, LMFT, is a Clinical Therapist of Counseling & Psychological Services at CalPolyPomona.  Maria Gisela received her Bachelor's degree in clinical and cognitive psychology at Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia, and her Master's degree in psychology with emphasis in marriage and family therapy at California State University, Los Angeles.  Maria Gisela has been a licensed psychologist in her country of origin since 2005 and a licensed marriage and family therapist in California since 2012.  Maria Gisela identifies as a cisgender woman, Latina, immigrant, bicultural, and bilingual (English & Spanish).  Maria Gisela has extensive clinical experience serving children, adolescents, and families through different community mental health programs and college counseling.  Maria Gisela is passionate to support diverse populations increase life satisfaction, her interactions are informed by direct lived and volunteering experiences with communities abroad.  Her therapeutic approach is insight and process oriented grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy principles.  Maria Gisela integrates family systems, trauma-informed, client center, cognitive behavioural, neuropsychology, and mindful self-compassion practices.  Maria Gisela serves as CAPS liaison for the Renaissance Scholars Program and the Cesar Chavez Center on campus.

Cheyenne Summer Smith, LCSW, is a Clinical Therapist of Counseling & Psychological Services at CalPolyPomona.  Cheyenne Smith received her B.A. in Sociology with a minor in psychology from University of California, Santa Barbara and her Master's in social work from the University of Southern California (USC).  She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who comes from a background of working in community mental health servicing the transitional aged youth and college student populations through therapy, advocacy, and mental health education.  Cheyenne's clinical areas of interest include work with BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, 1st generation students, and students from historically disadvantaged, and/or low-income communities.  Cheyenne specializes in working with anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity development, relationship concerns, multicultural/diversity issues, and trauma.  She serves as a partner to CalPolyPomona's Black Resource Center.  Cheyenne is committed to social justice and helping build happy, healthy, and adaptive mindsets through holistic, culturally informed approaches, and creating safe spaces for students.

Denise Anita Urzua, LMFT, is a Clinical Therapist of Counseling & Psychological Services at CalPolyPomona.  Denise Urzua earned her Bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of California, Riverside and her Master's degree in psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from CalPolyPomona.  Denise is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years in practice.  She previously provided psychotherapy to a diverse group of youth, families, and adults in community mental health, before returning to her alma mater CalPolyPomona.  Denise integrates cognitive-behavioural, interpersonal, family-systems, trauma-informed, and client-centered approaches in her clinical practice.  As a first-generation college student, Denise is passionate about providing a safe and nonjudgmental therapeutic space for students with a focus on helping them address and process presenting concerns, past traumas, and interpersonal relationships, as they navigate life transitions and college life.  Denise serves as the CAPS liaison to the Womxn's Resource Center and to Parenting Students.
