Kell Jun Fujimoto, Psy. D., is the Director of Counseling & Psychological Services at CalPolyPomona.  Dr. Kell Fujimoto obtained his Bachelor degree in psychology and Master's degree in counselor education from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, and Doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Argosy University - Honolulu.  He is a licensed psychologist with 22 years of practice in university counseling centers.  Dr. Fujimoto has been a director for a university counseling center since 2016.  He started his tenure at CalPolyPomona in May 2023 and currently oversees the Counseling & Pscyhological Services (CAPS) and Survivor Advocacy Services (SAS) departments.  He views his leadership style as transformative; supporting vulnerability, promoting transparency, and fostering growth while creating an environment that allows flexiblity, encourages feedback, and embraces diversity.

Specialization / Interest Areas:  Working with trauma survivors, family of origin dyanmics/systems, developing healthy relationships, LGBTQIA+ experiences, and identity development.
Arthur H Ritmeester, Ph. D., is the Interim Associate Director and a Clinical Psychologist of Counseling & Psychological Services at CalPolyPomona.  Dr. Arthur Ritmeester completed his doctorate in counseling psychology at the University of Albany, State University of New York and Bachelor's degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara.  He joined the CalPolyPomona Counseling & Psychological Services team in 2018.  His clinical interests include working with trauma survivors, family of origin/dynamics/systems, developing health relationships, cultural humility, LGBTQIA+ experiences, and identity development.  Dr. Ritmeester's clinical approach is insight and process oriented, and integrates client centered, mindfulness, and CBT interventions.  Additional interests include clinical coordination, clinical supervision and training, consultation, and mental health education.

Nestor Gama is the Front Desk Coordinator of Counseling & Psychological Services at CalPolyPomona.  He is a graduate student having pursued a Master's in Public Administration from the College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences at CalPolyPomona.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication, with an emphasis in Organizational Communication, from the College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences at CalPolyPomona.  Nestor has been part of the campus community since the Fall of 2011 as a Transfer student.
