What is a non-affiliate?

"Non-Affiliate" means any person who is not any of the following: a Student, Employee, officer, trustee, auxiliary employee, official University volunteer, or member of a household authorized to reside on University Property.

If you wish to sell something on campus, please refer to our vendor process.

 

Policies applying to non-affiliates

All non-affiliates must adhere and understand the policies posted on the Free Speech @ CPP website.

The Free Speech @ CPP website contains the CSU Systemwide Time, Place and Manner policy and the CPP Addendum.

Requesting temporary structures

  • An advanced reservation is required if you wish to have temporary structures.
    • Tables, chairs, canopies or "EZ-ups" or "Pop-up tents"
  • The turnaround time to get the proper permits is 2 weeks (10 business days)
  • Note: This is only a request, we will contact you if your date, and event layout are confirmed
    • We only schedule for the current academic term
      • Fall term (August-December)
      • Spring term (January-May)
      • Summer term (May-July)

Information required for temporary structures

Please include in your email the below information. Email us at leadership@cpp.edu

  • Your name
  • Your organization (if you are part of one)
  • The requested date and times
  • The outdoor location on-campus you wish to put up a temporary structure
    • Spots outside of our student center are available based on availability
    • If you wish to put temporary structure elsewhere there will be an additional fee
  • The items that you are requesting to bring to campus
    • If you are requesting a pop-up tent, please include the dimensions of the footprint of the ten
