About the VRC
The Veterans Resource Center was established in 2012 to support the personal and academic success of Cal Poly Pomona's military affiliated students. The Center serves as a central resource for information, support, guidance and community. Among some of the services that are offered to our student veterans and dependents are:
- Introduction to veteran-specific services
- Computers and free printing
- Referrals to campus and off-campus programs and services
- Peer support, counseling and guidance
- Assistance with navigating policies and processes
- Connection with other veterans
- Advocacy and support with campus faculty, staff, and administrators
- Scholarship opportunities
- Career workshops and events
- Veteran recognition events
By establishing a connection with the Center, veterans and dependents provide themselves with an opportunity to benefit from the resources and support services that the University and our off campus partners have made available to them to ensure their well-being and success as students.
