Sara Margala

After graduation, I accepted a position as an Optical Engineer with Northrop Grumman where I work on the design, testing, and analysis of a variety of different optical systems and devices. I found that many skills I developed as a student in CPP’s physics department transferred directly into my everyday problem solving and engineering work. Throughout my degree, I was provided with a wide range of opportunities to get hands-on experience in labs, software-based classes, and research— All of which greatly contributed to giving me a successful start to my career.
