How to Apply
The 2024-25 Reading, Advising, Mentoring Program (RAMP/TRIO SSS) application has closed. If you are interested in applying for RAMP, the 2025-26 application is scheduled to open on May 16, 2025. If you started the 2024-25 application process or have any questions, please contact ramp@cpp.edu.
The application information below details the application process for future applicants. Links to the application documents will be added to this page once the application is open.
Students must meet eligibility requirements to participate in the Reading, Advising, & Mentoring Program (RAMP). To apply, complete the following three steps:
- Program Application
- Income Verification Form (IVF)
- To complete the IVF, you will need the following information:
- Parents/Guardian's prior year taxable income (if you are considered to be dependent student on the FAFSA) OR your taxable income (if you are considered independent). Taxable income can be found IRS Form 1040, Line 15.
- Size of family unit
- Parent/Guardian signature (if dependent student)
- To complete the IVF, you will need the following information:
- Reading Assessment (once we receive your Application and IVF and determine that you are eligible for the program, a staff member will contact you to schedule your assessment)
The Application and Income Verification Form require you to provide information that may not be readily available (such as tax information). With the application, you won't be able to save and resume later; with the IVF, you can save and resume the form within two weeks.
Continuing Participants
Once you are accepted to RAMP, you are a participant until you graduate (or leave the university). We ask that you complete the Participant Update form once per academic year (click here for the 2024-25 form).
