Mentorship Program

Our Mentorship Program seeks to inspire incoming transfer students to achieve their full potential by establishing strong interpersonal relationships with them while maximizing their growth through intentional academic and social programming.

Participants in this program will have the opportunity to select a mentor they believe is best equipped to help them navigate their first year at Cal Poly Pomona. Peer Mentors will meet with their mentees several times throughout the academic year in both a one-on-one and group capacity to ensure they are consistently supported in their transition.

If you are a current transfer student who would like to invest your time in helping support incoming transfer students at Cal Poly Pomona, we encourage you to apply to be a peer mentor! Applications to be a peer mentor will open in Spring 2024.

The PolyTransfer Program is looking for newly admitted transfer students who would like to participate in our year-long mentorship program! If you are seeking opportunities to connect with campus resources, develop friendships, and experience a smooth transition into life at Cal Poly Pomona, then you have come to the right place!
