PolyTransfer Spring Transition Program

About

The PolyTransfer Spring Transition Program is designed for incoming transfer students to develop a sense of belonging to Cal Poly Pomona (CPP) through engagement with their peers, CPP faculty, staff, and resources as well as guided support in applying to a California State University (CSU). You will learn more about the CPP community and how to be successful at CPP. Stay tuned for info about the Spring 2026 program.

Learning Outcomes

  • Students will be able to identify resources for transfer students at CPP 
  • Students will develop a sense of belonging within Cal Poly Pomona and the PolyTransfer Program  
  • Students will develop a transfer support network comprised of peers, staff, and faculty from diverse backgrounds  
  • Students will be able to reflect on their career and major goals

Program Benefits

The program offers numerous benefits to participants, including free meals and parking, opportunities to connect with Cal Poly Pomona faculty, staff, and students, and valuable insights into transfer student resources at CPP. Attendees will also learn about financing their education, including financial aid and scholarships, and have the chance to meet other incoming transfer students. Additionally, the program features fun activities, exciting giveaways, and much more to enhance the experience.
