Ink & Clay 46: Art & Science Collide

Established in 1971, Ink & Clay is a juried competition of printmaking, ink drawing, ceramic ware, clay sculpture, mixed media and installation, utilizing any variety of “ink” or “clay”, or combination, as material. This year's theme simultaneously explores the subjects of Art & Science and how the twain may meet. Thematic topics and subject matter may range from anything science related, to art and science in combination: projects about climate change and environmental justice, to the future of artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, astrology and space, science and spirituality or religion, gender/ transgender issues and infinite other scientific topics may be explored. The duration of Ink and Clay 46 will be from August 26th to November 14th, 2024.
