Spectrum brings together 12 contemporary artists whose work employs color as a significant or defining element. Participating artists include: Alison Rash, Whitney Hanlon, Quinton Bemiller, Patrick Craig Manning, Byoung, Thomas Pathe, Christine Morla, David Allan Peters, Brian Porray, Eric Justin Smail, R. T. Pece, and Christina Pierson.
With interests and inspiration drawn from such diverse sources such as personal heritage, pop culture, and art history, these artists comprise a vibrant representation of contemporary art making. From the formal, to the conceptual, to the phenomenological, each artist employs color to suit their unique intentions, providing viewers with a spectral experience rooted in contemporary cultural expression.
