Information Security

Information security a top priority for Cal Poly Pomona and the CSU.  Cal Poly Pomona is committed to the security and privacy of our faculty, staff, and students' data. 

The CSU and Cal Poly Pomona continually assess IT security risks and controls to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.  The Division of Information Technology & Institutional Planning’s (ITIP’s) develops and promotes resources designed for safe computing practices by our faculty, staff and students when using digital resources.  The Division of Information Technology, and Institutional Planning (IT&IP) regularly expands and enhances campus information security.    

Everyone is a partner in information security to ensure control for for your personal information.  This includes requests to for your personally-identifiable information (SSN, DOB), or your account credentials (username, password, or DUO/MFA information).   

If you see something, say something.  Report campus suspicious emails to suspectemail@cpp.edu and mark them as Phishing using Microsoft 365.
