News

New Microsoft Limits for Online Storage

Recent changes to how Microsoft allocates online services for their higher education clients will soon require CPP to reduce the available storage provided to all individuals and groups.

View our Outlook Email Settings and Archive Recommendations eHelp article to learn how Outlook's Online Archive feature extends storage. If you are close to your storage limits, visit the Microsoft Support pages to learn how to review your Outlook and OneDrive statistics. The new quotas are detailed in our Microsoft 365 Default Storage eHelp article, including how departments can purchase additional storage.

Beginning on March 13, IT&IP will update all user and group quotas that are below the new limit. If you are part of this group, no action is needed. In the following weeks, IT&IP will contact users and Teams group owners above their new quota level to help reduce storage consumption and provide options to request increased storage.
