Service Notices

The following is a description of maintenance and upgrades by the Division of Information Technology and Institutional Planning (IT&IP) over the next seven days.

Duo Multifactor Authentication (MFA) Security Enhancement

Summary: Duo will send notifications to users when an MFA device is added or removed from your account.

What does this mean to me? Duo MFA now includes a mobile push and email notification when an authentication device, such as a tablet or smartphone, is added or removed from your BroncoAccount.

BroncoDirect and PeopleSoft

Summary: BroncoDirect and PeopleSoft will undergo planned maintenance on Sunday, May 5, from midnight to 6 a.m. All student administration, human resources, and financial functions will be unavailable.

BroncoDirect and PeopleSoft services impacted include:

  • BroncoDirect/Student Center
  • Class Enrollment
  • Payments
  • Degree Progress Reports
  • Class Search
  • HR Self-Service
    • Time & Labor
    • Absence Management
  • Student Employment Module
  • Part-Time Faculty Module
  • HR Reports
  • Common Financial System
  • General Ledger
  • Accounts Receivable

During this planned service interruption outside our regular maintenance windows, users will continue to be able to access MyCPP, Canvas, email, and other IT services. Areas in MyCPP that display information from BroncoDirect and PeopleSoft will be unavailable. The Division of Information Technology and Institutional Planning tries to minimize the time systems are unavailable outside our standard maintenance windows. PeopleSoft system maintenance is an exception because the Chancellor's Office schedules maintenance for all CSU campuses.

Additional Server Maintenance

Cal Poly Pomona's data warehouse will undergo planned server maintenance and upgrades on Sunday, May 5, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We expect no disruption to online services.
