Namecoach

Canvas courses now features student name recordings, Cal Poly Pomona's integration of Namecoach, a service to aid name pronunciation, reduce mistakes, and foster inclusion in our daily interactions. Students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to add an audio recording, phonetic spelling of their name, and preferred pronouns from any Canvas course as part of their BroncoIdentity. Namecoach profiles can be available outside Canvas for email signatures, social media, or documents when desired.

Artificial Intelligence Fair

The Cal Poly Pomona Artificial Intelligence Fair will be held on April 17, 2024, at the Bronco Student Center in Ursa Major. Join us in exploring artificial intelligence (AI), from today's task-specific devices, services, and systems to purely theoretical possibilities. The fair will feature a keynote session, panel discussion, hands-on presentations from industry experts, student clubs, and career networking opportunities.
