Summer Session 2025 Financial Aid
Financial aid can help cover some of the costs of taking classes during the summer!
Since the summer semester at Cal Poly Pomona is considered the last term of the academic year for financial aid purposes, your eligibility will be based off of your 2024-2025 FAFSA or CA Dream application. Your aid options will typically consist of any aid you did not use during the academic year.
To be considered for financial aid during the summer, you must meet basic eligibility requirements:
- Have a 2024-2025 FAFSA or CADAA on file with Cal Poly Pomona
- Enroll in at least one unit of Summer coursework
- Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards
The aid you are offered for summer will be based on eligibility requirements for each program (Federal Grants, Cal Grant, Student Loans). Most aid programs require students be enrolled at least half-time.
