Dr. Qian (Ken) Zhang is an Assistant Professor of Technology and Operations Management at the College of Business Administration at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. His research interests relate to revenue management, pricing models, platform and information design using Game Theory. In particular, he studies platform's pricing and information provision decision considering strategic behaviors of consumers. In addition, Ken is also interested in machine learning applications in revenue management and finance. He also has experience working as a full-time data scientist in the industry, including at Bloomberg, and has provided project-based consulting services for companies like Two Sigma. He has taught courses in the areas of data analytics and machine learning at both undergraduate and graduate level.
