Hyungchul Han grew up in Seoul Korea and earned his degree in Animal nutrition. His post graduate training includes physiology and molecular biology in various animals. He continues to serve as a researcher and lecturer in Animal Science over two decades. His research interest focuses on maternal environment on differential gene expression associated with fetal, neonatal and postnatal growth and health. He is particularly interested in genes that are involved in nutrient partitioning in the fetus. He also teaches classes in animal sciences which includes Animal Nutrition, Animal Physiology, Endocrinology, Animal Genetics as well as graduate courses.
