CPP Professional Development Badges
A digital badge is a visual representation of skills or knowledge you have gained and learned during a course or activity. You earn badges each time you successfully attend, participate in, and complete one of Cal Poly Pomona’s digital badge course or activity. By taking these types of courses or participating in these types of activities and are able to build your own set of digital credentials to demonstrate your learning. Badges earned through Cal Poly Pomona are organized in a hierarchy that you can build upon.
Upon completion of earning a badge, you will receive a notification to claim your new badge and credential on the Badgr platform. After creating a free account on , you can display your badges on your resume, website, e-portfolio, and social media sites. Digital badges are clickable and contain the details about the learning outcomes, competencies, and skills acquired from the course or activity that you completed.
All Cal Poly staff and faculty can earn digital badges. When you're ready, simply enroll in a badge course or activity and start learning new skills and building your digital credentials.
