Network Analyst
Classification Standard and Description
Quoting the Standard:
Design, installation, ongoing analysis, administration and/or control of voice, data and video networks and/or distance learning technologies.
At Cal Poly Pomona:
This employee works on the campus voice or data network, not only via the network. Determines needs, configures and installs equipment, designs and tests modifications, monitors performance. Does not typically interact directly with end-users, but is highly likely to interact with the broad range of campus IT-support personnel in the other classifications.
