Quoting the Standard:
Technical system support, including installation, maintenance, modification and repair. Systems may be electromechanical or computerized.
At Cal Poly Pomona:
This employee works primarily on desktop hardware installation and system set-up, following clear guidelines. May provide end-user support, often as a member of a team which includes other IT (Information Technology)-support personnel.
