Department of Landscape Architecture
Empowering the Landscape of the Future
The Department of Landscape Architecture prepares students to solve the ecological and social challenges of the 21st century. Our undergraduate, graduate and minor programs develop creative and critical thinking skills, along with providing students the technical and theoretical knowledge to become successful professionals.
We use the creative and cultural capital of Southern California and the world to teach future landscape architects who will be socially conscious and environmentally aware, technically and aesthetically sophisticated, concerned with craft and justice, and who can work systematically and holistically. We are bravely curious.
