Dr. Blair Selected as An Engaged Scholar

Dr. James J.A. Blair has been selected as a part of the 2021-2022 cohort of the Campus Compact Engaged Scholar.  With support from CPP’s Center for Community Engagement, he will participate in a series of retreats and workshops with a broader coalition of scholars committed to equity-focused change and anti-racist pedagogy. Dr. Blair is excited to use this opportunity to develop a concrete plan of action for his new community-engaged research project centered on renewable energy and environmental justice at California’s Salton Sea.

The cohort consists of 22 engaged faculty, staff, and administrators from members of the Campus Compact across the nation. The scholars will meet over the course of the year, participate in mentorship and attend virtual retreats and pursue scholarly projects.
