Communication Studies Minor
The Communication Studies minor prepares students for a variety of careers in business, government, and education.
The Communication Studies minor should be chosen by students who wish to emphasize organizational, interpersonal and intercultural communication in preparation for careers in business/industry or in preparation for graduate or professional school.
Multimedia Journalism Minor
The Multimedia Journalism minor prepares students for careers in digital media, news reporting, and content creation across various platforms.
The Multimedia Journalism minor should be chosen by students planning careers in journalism, digital content creation, and media production. Students will gain hands-on experience with tools for creating and distributing news in multimedia formats, preparing them for the fast-evolving field of journalism.
Public Relations Minor
The Public Relations minor prepares students planning careers in public relations, advertising and personnel positions that require skills and knowledge in the use of written and oral communication.
The Public Relations minor should be chosen by students planning careers in public relations, advertising, and human resource management which require skills and knowledge in the use of written, oral, visual, and multimedia communication.
