What is the most significant thing that has happened to you since graduating?

The most significant thing that has happened to me since graduating was receiving my acceptance letter to graduate school. I worked various jobs after graduation to gain experience of the real world before making the decision to go back to school. Starting this fall, I will be a full-time graduate student at Claremont Graduate University, where I will study business administration.

What is your favorite memory or CLASS CPP experience?

What is your advice for current students?

Step out of your comfort zone. Join a club or participate in a sport that interests you. It is boring to simply take courses and not balance them out with extracurricular activities. By participating in extracurricular activities, you are surrounding yourself with a group of students who share the same interests, while also building your professional network. The same concept applies to your professor's office hours. Utilize this valuable resource, as this will be useful when you need recommendation letters for graduate school professional job references.

How has your CLASS degree helped shape your success?

My economics degree has shaped my success by making me a more rational thinker. I find myself applying the concepts I learned in my courses to various situations in my life. As preparation for graduate school, my master's program is requiring newly admitted students to participate in academic workshops during the summer to increase our course success. I have already completed the required academic workshops, and I found that my knowledge provided me with a unique perspective on discussions and mathematical computations.
