Clubs
American Advertising Federation/Advertising Club
This organization enjoys co-membership with professional advertising Chapter districts over the nation. Student clubs are organized into districts. We are located in a district with UCLA, Cal State Fullerton, Pepperdine and many other Southern California universities. Each year the leading clubs engage in a shootout for best promotional campaign, with the winning team advancing to the national finals at the national AAF convention. More information about this organization can be found on the AAF website.
American Marketing Association
Like AAF, the American Marketing Association connects professional chapters nationwide with student chapters. This organization has a broader interest in all areas of marketing—research, promotions, distribution, strategy—and has national conferences for practitioners, academics and students. The student AMA International Collegiate Conference is going to be held this spring in New Orleans.
AMI (Analytics and Marketing Insights) Club
Open to all majors, the AMI club exists to nurture the next generation of market analysts and consultants who generate customer insights that will shape the business world. The club was founded with two clear goals in mind. First, we provide practical hands-on learning opportunities to equip members with the necessary knowledge and skills. Second, we provide career guidance to assist club members to get placed in prominent companies in insights and data industry and in-house research functions of major corporations in the nation. More information on this organization can be found at Analytics and Marketing Insights Club.
Pi Sigma Epsilon
This is the national organization for students interested in sales, sales management and related areas of marketing. Our university from 1984 to 2004 won more PSE awards than any other chapter in the nation! A sub-group of PSE is Mu Kappa Tau, the national honorary society for marketing. PSE also has a national student convention, this year April 7-11 in Milwaukee. More information into this group can be found at Pi Sigma Epsilon's Twitter or Facebook page.
