Admission Requirements
Admission to this program is based on the holistic view of the following criteria below. Weakness in one area can be made up by strengths in other areas.
- Transcript showing a Bachelor’s Degree. Unofficial transcript can be submitted for admission decisions at the application portal. Once accepted, an official transcript must be submitted to the Office of Admissions. See the admitted students page.
- 2.5 GPA or higher (Transcript)
- Statement of Purpose: In this statement (with a word limit between 250 and 500 words) you may state things that would reveal your motivations and preparations such as: Why you are pursuing an MS in Digital Marketing; How you have prepared yourself academically or professionally in the field of digital marketing or/and analytics; What you can contribute to the program; Your career objectives and how this program would help you achieve this goal.
- One letter of recommendation
- Demonstrated Proof of English Proficiency (For International Students only): See international office’s site for details about English proficiency.
Optional Documents or Qualifications (Not Required)
The following documents or qualifications are not required. Not having them will not disqualify you from admission.
- GMAT/GRE
- Other supporting documents: Resume, certificates, etc.
- Working Knowledge of College Algebra and Statistics: Students without official coursework in college-level Algebra or statistics courses are strongly encouraged to apply. Students who are accepted into the program without having a sufficient working knowledge of math (College Algebra) or/and statistics are encouraged to take a crash course to refresh their memory by the first semester. Contact the directors to get information about cost-effective solutions to better prepare for the program curriculum.
- Exposure to Computer Programming Languages Such as R or Python is Encouraged: Students without programming experience are also strongly encouraged to apply, as we will provide DWV in R Boot Camp to supplement course work at no extra cost. All registered students will be taught basic and intermediate skills such as literature coding and Tidyverse family package, equivalent to DWV100 in their first semester.
