Each of the scholarships listed below must be applied for online via Bronco Scholarship Application. All applications will be reviewed by the appropriate scholarship committee, and awards will be announced once decisions have been made.
CIS Boeing Scholarship
Boeing is awarding a $1,000 scholarship to undergraduate Computer Information Systems students who are with a minimum cumulative Cal Poly GPA of 3.0 and an overall minimum GPA 3.0. Applications must include a signed recommendation letter from a non-student and (official or unofficial) transcripts.
Scholarship eligibility requirements:
- Computer information systems major
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Personal statement
- A copy of transcripts (official or unofficial)
- A signed letter of recommendation (from a non-student)
CIS Academic Scholarship
The Computer Information Systems (CIS) Academic Scholarship awards CIS undergraduate students who demonstrate outstanding academic records from Cal Poly Pomona. Qualifications include a minimum cumulative Cal Poly Pomona GPA of 3.7 or higher and at least 6 completed CIS courses. Preferences are given to students who have higher Cal Poly Pomona GPA and have completed more CIS courses. Applicants need to submit their Cal Poly Pomona (official or unofficial) transcripts which must include at least 6 completed CIS courses. Prior recipients of this scholarship are not eligible.

- Undergraduate students
- Cal Poly Pomona GPA of 3.7 or higher
- A copy of Cal Poly Pomona transcript (official or unofficial)
CIS Leardership Scholarship
The Computer Information Systems (CIS) Leadership Scholarship awards CIS undergraduate students who demonstrate outstanding leadership on school-related activities while serving the CIS Department. A minimum cumulative Cal Poly Pomona GPA of 3.0 or higher is required. Applicants need to submit two reference letters and Cal Poly Pomona (official or unofficial) transcripts. Prior recipients of this scholarship are not eligible.

- Undergraduate students
- Cal Poly Pomona GPA of 3.0 or higher
- A copy of Cal Poly Pomona transcript (official or unofficial)
- Two signed letters of recommendation (from non-students)
Wagner Fund Scholarships
The Wagner Fund was created by Dr. Gerald E. Wagner in 1998 through the generous donations of corporate sponsors, alumni and faculty. The fund honors Dr. Wagner's efforts as a Computer Information Systems professor, leader in curriculum and commitment to student achievement. An important part of the fund is providing scholarships that reward academic excellence.
Scholarship eligibility requirements:
- Must be majoring in Computer Information Systems
- Must be enrolled full-time (12 or more units) for the coming Fall semester
- Cumulative CPP GPA should be greater than or equal to 3.7
- A copy of transcript (official or unofficial)
- One letter of recommendation (from a non-student)
