Dr. Sonya Zhang, Professor in Analytics and Director of Partnerships

Dr. Sonya Zhang is a Professor of Computer Information Systems at the College of Business Administration, Cal Poly Pomona. She received a Ph.D. in information systems and technology from Claremont Graduate University, an M.S. in Computer Science, and an M.B.A. from Illinois State University. Her research areas are Web and Software Development, Digital Analytics, Digital Product Management, Internet Entrepreneurship, and Online Learning. She co-authored The Smarter Startup: A Better Approach to Online Business for Entrepreneurs (Pearson). Her work has also appeared in many journals and conference proceedings. Her work also appeared in the Journal of Computer Information Systems, ACM Interactions, Journal of Information Systems Education, Journal of Information Technology Education, International Journal of Healthcare Information Systems and Informatics, HICSS, AMCIS and IEEE conference proceedings.
