The program runs June 1, 2025 - August 9, 2025.

Applications are due February 15 (annually).

The first round of notifications will be made by March 1 with students given 10 days to respond; if any offers are declined, subsequent offers will be made to additional students.

The minimum GPA required is 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Yes, REU students must be be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, or U.S. permanent residents.

No, only current undergraduate students with at least one additional semester/quarter remaining after the
REU program are eligible.

Yes, REU students must have completed a multivariable calculus ("Calculus 3") course.

Preference will be given to those with prior programming experience; however a programming "bootcamp" will be held in the first week of the REU program.

REU participants are required to live in on campus housing for the entire 10 week period.  Works days are Monday - Friday for each 40-hour week, with specific activities scheduled for both the REU program and each individual project.
