Payment Options

Several payment options are available depending on your circumstances and interests.

These include:

ECheck/Electronic Checks - money is withdrawn from your checking or savings account that you submit online to pay tuition and fees.
Credit Card Payments (PDF) Tuition and fees charged to your American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or VISA account assess a 2.65% convenience fee (Transact). Credit cards are only accepted in person for fees (such as housing, books, or other miscellaneous charge) other than tuition.
Personal Check or Money Order Payment of tuition and fees may be mailed, dropped in the Payment Drop Box outside Student Accounting & Cashiering Services or made in person.
Cash Payment of tuition and fees in person at Student Accounting & Cashiering Services.
529 Saving Plan (PDF) Payment of tuition and fees through the College Savings Fund online.
International Payment (PDF) International students can make payments from their home country, typically in their home currency, via Flyer. Flyer is now available through BroncoDirect.

Financial Aid and Scholarships Payment of tuition and fees by grant, loan, and scholarship programs available to eligible students.

Employee/Dependent Fee Waivers Waiver of state fees for employees to improve their current job skills or obtain a degree for career development or for dependents of legible employees.

Cal State University Mandatory Fee Waivers Waiver of fees for students qualifying for the Alan Pate, Dependents of Victims of September 11 Attacks, and Non-Resident California High School Graduate programs.
60+ Fee Waiver Program The CS offers a fee waiver program for degree-seeking California residents 60 years of age and older.

Third-Party Sponsor Programs Payment of tuition and fees by third-party sponsors, such as vocational rehabilitation.

- Veterans Benefits Deferment of tuition and fees available until veterans benefits are received.
