Financial Aid
Attending summer at Cal Poly Pomona is a great way to make up credits, make up a class you may have dropped, or just get ahead in your coursework and complete your degree!
Financial aid can help cover some of the costs of taking classes during the summer. Since the summer semester at Cal Poly Pomona is considered the last term of the academic year, your eligibility will be based on your 2023-2024 FAFSA application. For Undergraduate students, aid funding for the summer comes from the Pell Grant, Cal Grant, or Direct Loans. Your aid options will typically consist of any aid you did not use during the academic year.
Due to limited available funding, your summer aid package may be very different from the awards and amounts you received during the academic year. Specifically, State University Grant (SUG), SEOG, and EOP funding is not available during the summer.
Full details about financial aid for Summer 2024 will be posted on the Financial Aid & Scholarships website.
