Over the course of SEES' history, we have had hundreds of SEES members get accepted into graduate programs around the country. It is a track record that we are very proud of. Below, you will find resources that help our students progress through their undergraduate studies and complete their Bachelor's degree, which is the main requirement for graduate school. More importantly, you will also find a video list of SEES workshops that help in the graduate school application and preparation process.

Graduate Schools

Graduate schooling typically refers to the pursuit of a Master's (MS) or Doctoral (PhD) degree in a specific area of study. Every graduate program requires that an applicant have finished their Bachelor's (BS/BA) degree before the start date of the program. Students should study their curriculum sheets and use the SEES flow charts on our Advising Page in order to progress well towards their Bachelor's degree. Students must consult the admissions and/or requirements webpages for the programs they desire to apply to in order to know other requisites. The common requisites for most MS and PhD programs are the program application, the personal statement, Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and other documents. It is also very important to know that to be competitive for graduate school, students need to have experience outside of the classroom, for example research with a professor, at a company, at a government agency, etc. Please see the following SEES workshops below for guidance on these topics.
